Nicola Heckner, is a German educator and school leader currently based in Remerschen, Luxembourg. She holds a degree in Religious Education from the Catholic University of Freiburg (1995) and completed her teacher training for secondary education (Catholic Theology, Music, and History) at the University of Education Freiburg, passing both state exams with distinction (2001 and 2003). Her academic background also includes a diploma in Sacred Music. Professionally, since September 2023, she has been serving as Cheffe d’établissement at Sainte-Sophie School in Luxembourg.

She has worked as a teacher at Max-Planck-Realschule in Bad Krozingen (2003–2009) and held various leadership roles in education. From 2001 to 2018, she served as subject coordinator for Catholic Theology at the teacher training college under the Freiburg Regional Council. Between 2009 and 2011, she was involved in several regional and educational leadership initiatives. From 2018 to 2023, she was the principal of the Realschule at Heimschule St. Landolin in Ettenheim, and from 2023 onwards, she has been serving as Cheffe d’établissement at Sainte-Sophie School in Luxembourg.

In parallel with her school responsibilities, Nicola Heckner has remained active in Sacred music and teacher training. She has taught as a lecturer in music and history, mentored future educators, and contributed to curriculum development and diocesan religious education initiatives.
