Jean Paulin MBIDA NGONO is a priest of the Archdiocese of Yaoundé (Cameroon). After completing the first two cycles of theology at the Pontifical University Santa Croce in Rome (Italy), in 2015 he defended his doctoral dissertation in moral theology at the Faculty of Theology of the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) in Lugano (Switzerland).

He is a member of several research groups and contributes to specialized international journals such as “Omnes,” “La Società,” “Concilium,” and “Forum Katholische Theologie.” Since 2018, he has served as Director of Studies at the Major Seminary of Theology in Yaoundé and as an adjunct lecturer at the Faculty of Theology of UCAC and at other academic institutions in Yaoundé.

He is a member of the Theology of Trust research group as part of the Trust and Society (T&S) projects. His current research focuses on trust in Catholic Social teaching.
