Claude Armel Otabela is a postdoctoral researcher in Old Testament theology in the framework of the Trust & Society research project at the Luxembourg School of Religion & Society (LSRS).

He defended a doctoral thesis in theology, specializing in Old Testament exegesis, at the KU Leuven (Belgium). His doctoral research focused on the theological significance of the Pentateuch, studied through textual criticism and editorial analysis. His current research focuses on trust in the Psalms as part of the Trust & Society (T&S) project.

He is the Academic Network Leader since June 2026, and a member of the Theology of Trust Lab within the Trust& Society (T&S) project. As well Membre du Comité d’Organisation du Colloque Trust & Society  (UCAC, Yaoundé, Nov. 2026).
